‘We ought never forget that there is a dream of the man who wonders, a reverie of the road.’ Gaston Bachelard. I often stroll around in untouched landscapes, no man’s land, featuring unfinished buildings, places that are out of time and heterotopic. For me, these are places at a crossroads of diverse sensibilities. They radiate a universal and timeless mood, to drift one’s soul. Edouard Baribeaud, born 1984 in France, graduated from Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Paris in 2008, he currently works in Berlin and Paris as an artists and illustrator.
